This game is in a PROTOTYPE stage. You might want to: Play for some time, to get the concept; Follow me and track the game's progress, to see if i upload anything new; Propose great feature ideas for me to resolve how to implement them.
Overview
Have you ever wondered how does it feel to be a bot in a game?
To think as fast as an computer, but to control a character thousands of times slower than your perception?
This project is a prototype of a team top-down battle simulation where you get to be one of the algorithms that control the soldiers.
An algorithm runs until it finds a solution.
When you find your battle strategy, start the action.
Why limit yourself to one entity? Usually AI-s control whole games!
Control your whole team. Switch characters*, assign actions**, repeat.
* Right click on any character in your team. (Not red.)
** Not implemented.
To Do List
Here's a convenient list of what i'm planning to add in future updates:
- Pickable weapons
- Ammo and weapon reloading indicators
- A real menu, with buttons, and stuff. (Not that i dislike my [Run game] button.)
- Eventually, a campaign.
- And something to give it a reason to be played. Other games have scoreboards, if nothing else...
- Anything i like (and feel confident to implement) from your suggestions below.
